2019 EXPEDITION DATES

5 – 9 APRIL GREECE

We will assemble in NAFPLIO, GREECE; some 120 km SW from Athens.

For the first couple of days we will climb in the area and prepare for the departure to Piraeus Harbour, outside Athens.

From Piraeus we will go by ferry to Turkey; first we will take a ferry to CHIOS, a Greek Island, from which will take another ferry to CESME in TURKEY.

10 APRIL Arriving at CESME, going through Izmir to KAYNAKLAR crag just outside Izmir

13 APRIL Driving KAYNAKLAR to PAMUKKALE

14 APRIL Driving PAMUKKALE to DATCA

18 APRIL DATCA to OLYMPOS

22 APRIL OLYMPOS to GEYIKBAYIRI

28 APRIL GEYIKBAYIRI to CAPPADOCIA

3 – 7 MAY Driving from CAPPADOCIA to VAN (Lake Van)

8, 9 MAY Spare days

11 MAY – 10 JUNE IRAN

10 MAY Driving from Van to Razi, Khoy in IRAN

10 JUNE – 25 JUNE ARMENIA and 26 JUNE – 3 JULY GEORGIA

4 JULY – 3 AUGUST RUSSIA
